China, with a long history of liquor brewing and a large number of famous liquor varieties, is renowned at home and abroad for Guizhou Moutai liquor. Wuyou Group Distillery, located in Maotai Town, Guizhou Province, takes the traditional brewing technology, follows the Maotai standard of liquor to brew liquor.

The distillery generally starts brewing liquor at 4 a.m. For one reason, people feel comfortable with the cool weather for the sun that has not risen. For the other reason, the relatively lower ambient temperature during this period is better for the quality of liquor production. Therefore, the appropriate temperature plays a key role in the quality of liquor production.

It is required that we need to cool the liquor steam by utilizing the low temperature water in the brewing process. However, the temperature of the water used for distillation liquor cooling process will rise, which is not capable of continually cooling the liquor steam. Therefore, Hope Deepblue helps to provide users with a hot water absorption chiller for recycling the hot water with rising temperature after distillation liquor cooling process. This hot water is used to drive the hot water LiBr absorption chiller, which can produce chilled water for  the distillation liquor cooling process.

The project, belonging to the EPC project, is the first time to use the LiBr absorption chillers in liquor brewing industry in China. Hope Deepblue comes to be the first to actively explore more industrial waste heat utilization fields to consider for customers and meet customer’s needs.
