Factors Affecting Corrosion of Metallic Materials by LiBr Solution:

1. LiBr solution concentration

The lower the LiBr solution concentration, the oxygen content inside the LiBr absorption unit will increase, which will lead to increase corrosion.

2. LiBr solution temperature

The higher the temperature, the faster the reaction rate,which will lead to increase corrosion.

3. pH value

Acidic or too alkaline, corrosion will also be aggravated. 

Several measures to slow down the corrosion of LiBr solution on metal are as follows:

1. Ensure vacuum environment inside the LiBr absorption unit to prevent oxygen in the air from entering the unit.

2. Add corrosion inhibitors (0.1% -0.3% lithium chromate, lithium molybdate, etc.), the formation of a protective film on the surface of the metal, and later can be appropriate amount of corrosion inhibitors added.

3. Add lithium hydroxide to control the pH of the LiBr solution in a certain range. (Metals corrode most slowly at a pH of 9.0 - 10.5.)
