The main products are LiBr absorption chiller and heat pump. These units as a kind of cooling with waste heat, these are essentially a huge heat exchange equipment. On our big heat exchange equipment, there are also many small heat exchangers, they are plate heat exchangers.

In the course of long-term operation of the unit, these heat exchangers will inevitably wear out due to the generation of water hammer, especially in steam LiBr absorption chillers.

The following are the causes of water hammer.

1. Water pressure impact: steam LiBr absorption chiller condensate system valve is quickly opened when the solution leads to a steep increase or decrease in pressure within the system.

2. Flow impact: steam and water meet, in the plate for the corners are prone to produce water hammer, the plate for the formation of impact.

3. Differential pressure impact: steam flow rate is high, the flow rate of water is low, the pressure difference between them will also form an impact on the plate exchange.
